We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associates to join our Parker and Aurora store teams! The mission of both stores is to connect local businesses with the local community. Ideal candidates enjoy working with people and are interested to learn about the businesses we work with. The Retail Sales Associates will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting vendors, merchandising products, and handling transactions.  

Responsibilities: 

• Greet and engage customers, answering their questions and providing information about products and vendors. 
• Communicate with vendors, facilitating their requests and providing them with information regarding their business in the context of the store.  
• Prioritize tasks according to the needs of the store, evaluating responsibilities and adjusting efforts appropriately throughout the day
• Merchandise products and maintain store displays, ensuring that they are visually appealing and up-to-date. 
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment. 
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, restocking shelves, and conducting regular inventory checks. 
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring a safe and pleasant shopping environment for customers. 
• Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on products, promotions, and policies. 

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• 1+ years of retail or customer service experience preferred. 
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/carry 40lbs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays. 
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and other forms of payment. 
• Passion for local products and businesses is a plus.
